Wisdom House is an online educational platform dedicated to providing free education to deprived Afghan girls!

As we are aware, following the Taliban takeover on August 15, 2021, the governance system in Afghanistan collapsed, severely impacting the provision of services. The educational system faced disruption, with the Taliban imposing numerous restrictions, including a ban on the education of girls. School and university gates were closed to girls, leaving them deprived of education. In response to this situation, we created an online education platform so that Afghan girls have access to education.

#1173 days of deprivation

Girls of Afghanistan Under Oppression: New Limitations and Despair!

Since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, severe restrictions have been imposed on the rights of women, particularly girls. It has now been 1,173 days since girls above the sixth grade have been barred from education, and 713 days since universities have been closed to girls and women. With the recent closure of medical educational institutions to girls, this crisis has reached an even more critical point.

These actions by the Taliban not only impact the educational and professional futures of girls but also carry profound social and psychological consequences. The restrictions have fostered feelings of despair and depression among girls. Those who have worked for years to pursue their education and achieve their goals now face a wall of limitations and oppression that undermines their hope for the future.

Wisdom House continues its efforts to support girls and provide educational opportunities. We call upon the international community and human rights organizations to pay attention to this crisis and advocate for the rights of girls in Afghanistan.

Three Years After the Fall of Afghanistan: A Look at the Challenges and the Status of Girls!

August 15 serves as a somber reminder of the fall of Afghanistan and the beginning of a dark era in our country’s history. Since that day, we have witnessed numerous challenges that have impacted the people of Afghanistan, especially women and girls.

Current Situation.
The closure of schools and universities to girls has created a profound humanitarian crisis.
#For 1,060 days, millions of young girls have been deprived of their right to education—an essential privilege that not only gives them hope but also shapes the future of the country.
The lack of human rights, along with issues such as poverty, unemployment, and hunger, has made life extremely difficult for many families. A pressing question arises: can we, as a society, stand firm against these storms?
Challenges Ahead.
Every passing day sees an increase in the number of girls unable to continue their education. This situation negatively affects not only education but also the identity and self-esteem of this generation.
Moreover, the continuation of the current situation leads to higher unemployment rates and economic struggles, particularly for women striving to claim their rights and contribute to societal improvement.
Hopes and Solutions.
Now may be the time to initiate new efforts to support girls’ education. These initiatives could mobilize resources and create virtual educational opportunities for girls.
Conclusion.
Despite the challenges, there is hope for change. The international community must continue to advocate for the rights of Afghan women and girls, providing new opportunities.
Our hope is that in the days to come, Afghan girls will once again embrace the doors of knowledge and build a brighter future for themselves and their country.

Change is in our hands, and we must work together to achieve it.

These students will commence their academic journey from the first semester at Wisdom House, progressing through a four-year program in their chosen fields. 1000 DAYS OF DEPRIVATION.

1000 days have passed since Afghan girls have been deprived of access to schools and universities!

A thousand days have passed since Afghan girls have been prevented from entering schools and universities. The closure of the gates of universities and schools is essentially blocking the path of development. This restriction not only affects women but also leaves society behind in progress, development, and a bright future. Supporting girls' education should be a top priority and main objective in the country, as the future of a nation should be built on knowledge and awareness, not suppression and incapacity.

Wisdom House is continuously dedicated and determined to educate Afghan girls, making every effort to ensure women have access to education.

We hope for a better future for all Afghan girls and women."
